Thanks for your support and knowledge!I was able to have my pince nez fitted with my prescription in November. Labrabbit in Chicago did an excellent job with my pince nez.
I'll try to send photos soon. Joe
If you live in New York City and want to wear pince-nez, (or any sort of vintage eyewear) I recommend visiting Westway Optics on 10th Avenue. I have worn pince-nez for several years, and they have been my source for lenses since the early 1980's.
